A mild case of BlogDeath

In Lebanon we have a saying for death that I always found strange: "Kholso Zayteto", which litterally translates into "He ran out of oil"
They say everybody has a limited number of days, songs or stories in them.

In Lebanon we have a saying for death that I always found strange: "Kholso Zayteto", which litterally translates into "He ran out of oil". I guess in a way, I'm running out of oil.

Don't worry I'm not dying, at least not as far as I know. I've always been the kind of person to want to try everything, and keep up with everyone, and at that, I've done a terrible job lately. I've bit off much more than I could chew, I've over-extended myself in so many ways that I'm now overstretched, over-stressed, and quite frankly in need of a break. The funny part is that in my hopes of achieving everything I've set out to do, I forgot the most important rule about multi-tasking:

Only take on as many balls as you can juggle.

Needless to say, I've dropped quite a few balls, and I've left myself with nothing to show for my efforts.

I guess this is my desperate attempt at keeping myself from going crazy. I need to make room for the things that matter the most to me, and while writing has meant a great deal, it has become a burden for me to keep a tight blogging schedule, and the more I fell behind on my writing, the less I managed to get any writing done.

Which brings us to this: Survival First Life with Subtitles and Survival On The Go The On-The-Go Blog will be on indefinite hiatus.

I don't know how long a break I will be taking, or if I will be blogging again, but for now, this is my last post.
It's been great, hopefully it'll resume soon, but for now I need to find my center, or sanity, again.

Love,

Fadi "Shorty" Bitar

I will miss you, but I know you will be back. After all, you were the one who told me, "As a blogger you will go through phases, ups and downs.." So take that break, you need it..we will be here when you're ready to come back! Cheers!

I beg to differ. Let's just call it the well-deserved repos du guerrier. Take care of yourself.
