Charisma: When the world is an attractive woman and you're a phone

Today I'm going to talk about seduction and its three essential components: Men, Women, and Phones.
Today I'm going to talk about seduction and its three essential components: Men, Women, and Phones.
What most people do when they are out on a seduction mission, is attempt to show value.
Whether you're flaunting your brand new sports car, showing off your body/fancy clothes, or just being the center of attention, the message you're sending is clear: "Look at me, I'm Somebody". The problem is, very few people are actually good at demonstrating true value.

So now I bring in the third important component: Phones.
Phones, particularly Smart phones, are very important, and they teach us a very important lesson: Know your audience.

In the beginning, there was Nokia.
Nokia developed a lot of interesting features for Smart phone users over the years, many of which have gone unnoticed.
Nokia, is the Geek.

Then you have HTC.
HTCs come bundled with hardware that makes you feel as if you could pilot a rocket ship with that phone, a software platform that comes to close to performing miracles, and up until recently, an interface that left little to be desired.
HTC is the smart well-built man.

And finally, there's the iPhone.
The iPhone does not, not even by a long shot, come with the best hardware out there, or the best software in terms of performance. What the iPhone has going for it, is that it's slick, it's cool, and most of all, it has Charisma.
The iPhone, is that guy who ends up dating most women you've wanted in your life.

So whenever you're trying to seduce someone, and that someone seems to be impressed by somebody else's ability to say three words in French, and not give a damn about the fact that you speak seven languages (one of which might as well be French), ask yourself: Do I really want to be Nokia ? People have different preferences, and while your vast knowledge might land you a dream job, it (and your dream job) won't land you the girl who's looking for an iPhone guy.

So either speak to the right audience (no matter how niche that might be), or "fix your interface".
Let's face it, the world is in Love with the iPhone, and the only reason both Nokia and HTC are getting to chop away at the world's Smart Phone market is because they're become a little more like Apple's adored baby.

That should tell you something about the world, no matter how messed up you think it is.

After reading this post twice, I have my response..You're question shouldn't be "Do I really want to be a Nokia.."..your question should be, "Do I really want to be with a woman like that?"

And correct me if I'm wrong..but Nokia's shouldn't want to be with a girl who only appreciates the hardware and not the software.. ;)

I see your point, and that's why I think it's important to "Speak to the right audience".
As for your last point, I don't think it should logically happen, but these things rarely ever have a logic to them..
